I heard a saying once, not sure where it came from: “What you fear, will appear!”
Now, that’s an awesome saying.
Many people tend to worry about things that haven’t happened yet. They worry about the next day’s meeting, next week’s date. Yet after it happens and when they reflect on it they say, “Well, that wasn’t bad after all.”
Yet, if you fear something strongly enough, you end up visualising it. As you fear it, it shall happen and come into your life.
Bringing in another saying: “What you focus on expands.”
Do not focus on what you think may happen, or what you are afraid of. Instead, focus on what you want to happen. Ask yourself, “What’s the worst that could happen?”
Those thoughts alone will dramatically increase your self confidence.
Stop placing too much importance on something that hasn’t happened yet. Instead of worrying, take action on what you have control over, focus on what you do want to happen, and more than likely, things will go your way, or you will walk out with the feeling of, “Hmm. That’s wasn’t so bad.”
