It is well documented that we as human are creatures of habit. We tend to live a habitual life.
We think the same way and do things in the same way day in and day out. We brush our teeth in the same way, we drink the same drink, we eat the same food, we take the same route to work, and so on.
Now, what about the other habits, those that tell people who we are and what we are like. Habits such as, having a cigarette upon awakening, 2 cups of coffee before rushing off to work, feeling withdrawn at social events, reserved in departmental meetings.
Can you change your habits?
Sure you can.
You can change any habit that you want.
You want to build your self confidence. Read books, learn from people who once lacked self confidence and now have unstoppable self confidence.
Have a few of sessions with a business or life coach.
I did. I am very happy with my level of self confidence and I am working on expanding that.
Make it your intention to work on 3 or 4 habits a year; if you can manage more, even better. If you can manage one, that’s great.
Create and practise habits that support how you want to be
If there is a habit that is not allowing you to make an improvement in your life right now, what would that habit be?
